The Front Porch:

The back porch underwent a complete restoration.  A new patio was created using stone from the original construction of the home.  A brick wall was installed with a beautiful limestone cap.  The porch work included new framing, flooring and roofing.  The skirt boards and railing, along with the coulumns, were all custom made here in Champaign, IL.

HCI had the privilege of restoring the exterior of the historic Solon House.  Built in 1867, this home has weathered storms, fires, industrial development and more.
